This Strawberry Watermelon Smoothie is a refreshing and delicious drink, perfect for hot summer days. Made with juicy strawberries, sweet watermelon, and a splash of lemon juice, it blends together into a smooth and healthy treat.
2cups sliced fresh strawberries (or frozen for a frostier smoothie)
1.5 cupsdiced watermelon chunks (fresh seedless)
1tspfreshly squeezed lemon juice
Handful of ice cubes(optional)
Optional Add-Ins -1/4 cup coconut water, fresh cucumber, frozen cherries
Optional: honey or maple syrop (to taste)
Instructions
Wash the strawberries thoroughly under cold water and remove the green stems. Then dice the watermelon into small chunks, removing any seeds if necessary (make sure all fruits is chilled).
Place the strawberries, diced watermelon and lemon juice in a blender. Secure the blender lid and blend the ingredients on high speed until smooth (If you prefer a thicker consistency, you can add a few ice cubes before blending).
Once blended, taste the smoothie. If you desire a sweeter flavor, you can add a touch of honey or maple syrup, though the natural sweetness of the fruits should suffice for most tastes.
Pour the smoothie into a glass or mason jar. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig or a whole strawberry for a decorative touch. Serve immediately and enjoy!
