250mlkefir (1 cup natural plain)or substitute with yogurt
5datespitted Medjool dates
1teaspoon cocoa powder
1cup of fresh baby spinach
1ripe banana peel and sliced
1/4teaspoon Black Cumin Seedsto sprinkle (optional)
Instructions
Begin by adding the kefir to the jar of a high-speed blender first, for easy blending. Then add the rest of the ingredients.
Once the ingredients are in the blending container, secure the lid and blend until the mixture is smooth - start blending on low speed and gradually increase to high.
Blend on high speed for 50-60 seconds or until the green smoothie is smooth.
Pour the green smoothie into glasses, sprinkle with black cumin seeds (if desired) and serve immediately. Enjoy!
